Super helpful. Listening to this on an iPhone 11 without headphones and there is a marked difference between your iPhone recording and the other two mics. Far more overtones and liveliness with the zoom and rode. Thinking of getting the zoom now. Thanks!

I'm been playing 35 I've been tuning for 45, that's why I m a fiddler
It went perfectly, I even tuned everything (correctly I think), but then my E snare broke😔
@theviolintech7632Ай бұрын
Hi, sometimes the strings are faulty and they break for no reason. Luckily the E is cheap! Where did it break? On the bridge, by the fine tuner or by the peg?

Completely agree. I also like to recommend a geared pegs but that’s a bit expensive.

nice explanation.but ka still don't know whether mid finger and thumb are only in opposite position to each other or they are holding each other all the time .A am noobiest noob
@theviolintech76323 ай бұрын
Hi, they ideały shouldn’t touch. And depending on hand proportions they can be a little offset from each other. The most important thing is that the thumb is round and doesn’t slide in so deep that it touches the middle finger.

I have a small hand and when I bow up my two middle fingers get out of place or it moves more up. Is that ok?
@theviolintech76324 ай бұрын
Hi, every hand is different. The idea is to understand how the bow hold should function but everyone does modify the finger position some to make it comfortable. Ideały you want to be comfortable and sound good at the same time. You’ll find it if you keep at it! Good luck.
