To be Honest all the MP36PH-Qs all have good sound quality within the p3 and p5s despite being put in a metal box. While Bi-level cabs I call some of them the elephant horn

Cabcar uses Nathan P3, Locomotive uses Nathan P5

@@CentiCORF You are mistaken. SunRail uses a Nathan P2 on both locomotives and cab cars. They use bells 1 and 2. Here is an example of the horn: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIHWaKWBmp5rfbMsi=Ye7qInVLDENVj6Ua Some of these horns sound slightly different due to fouling thanks to dirt/grime getting into the horn. A P3 or P5 horn uses a large manifold that would be very difficult to fit into a steel box. A P2 can easily fit into a metal box as seen on Caltrain units.
