50 mph... I don't know that top speed is something one should really optimize for in a cyclekart. It's inevitable, I suppose, but senseless competition can ruin things.

How do I get into this? I've been a fan of these carts for a while and feel like it would be a blast to get into this type of racing.

@@mijithebub It's not exactly always "racing", it's usually just trying to drive as long as possible before something breaks! Cyclekarts are cheaply made so often times they're a chore to keep running. Do some Google work on "Cyclekarts", be sure to read the original Stevenson page

Thanks Ben, I too enjoyed your video. I wished I could have been there this week but life threw us a curve ball. Man that dirt is a real challenge, looks like heavy duty air filtering is a must.

Such a cool place to drive. It's a shame about the engine, but I think oiling the filter could help with the ultrafine particles or the good old-fashioned sock over it!

Can I ask why 18 inch wheels instead of the standard 17s on every other cyclecart build I have seen? I thought 17 inches was mandated?
