It looks like most of the guys are running fairly long and wide side rods these days. Interesting set up, might bring out my 15 or 18 inch bars to see for myself

Negative tiller is when your top limb is havier then botton one. And it.s wotks like a high nock point. Arrow till go down Becouse top limb will work harder and faster.
@ydoicappa
@ydoicappa Ай бұрын
how did you end with negative tiller? You can't get negative tiller and same poundage, you can get that if you decrease your botton limb one turn and one turn increease your top. So.. you can get same poundage but different tillers only if you do oposite tiller bolt manouver.

You'd lift the bow fine if you put the same on your short rods. As for 2024 Olympics, nope, same old load outs.

The best one was "old school" from the 1980's , made from a 11 inch x .5 or .75 piece of soft leather with two 1/2 inch slots cut into it and double loops formed. There are YT video's on how to make them.

I’ve noticed that the velocity of his release follow through is slower than many world class shooters. Also the draw elbow seems rather high to me.

@ilikevictorianera 12 күн бұрын
It's very clean realese. Hard yo achieve especially slower, he has good control of his muscles. To be fair seen a lot if archers with high elbow doing excellent it is personal choice although it can't be too high, I used to strain my neck and get headaches after shooting

Thanks, I guess in archery there are variations in form which is ok as long as the technique is consistent from shot to shot.@@ilikevictorianera

Flex archery here in Europe spain sells this SK99/SK75 blend as "one 320". Slightly pre-stretched to avoid to much creep out of the factory. 1 string 10 euro with taxes or 11$ . GAS buy their strings from BCY fibers... 250m 30$ u can make 10 string out of 1 roll. 60$ 20 strings excluding work and machining...

Among the fairly good factory made bowstrings that I've tried are the Flex carrera 99 and Flex supra. Flex archery claims their carrera is made of dyneema Sk99 material, and my brace height is very consistent when I use both of these strings. The center serving material is quite good, too.
