The blinking orange light is an error code. See here to decode it: www.tomshardware.com/forum/315626-31-toshiba-laptop-blink-codes It refers to "switch the computation backwards" in the comments on that thread, meaning translate the blink code so short blinks = 0 and long blinks = 1, There will be 8 blinks total just repeated with a 2 second off interval. Read it from the last number first and convert from binary to hexadecimal then you get a 2 character alphanumeric code. That code has an 'h' at the end representing hex. that final code corresponds to the table in the link. Eg; mine was 01000110 which gets reversed to 01100010 then converted to 62h = C3V error in the table. Hope that helps.

@David, it is likely driver support. Android x86 doesn't support a very large range of stuff just yet :(

@Twistguy0, I don't belive the Market is include here.. the key to Market support is having a linked Google Account (and supporting libraries). For many apps though, sideloading is the answer.

@Garry, my experience is that this relates to video drivers.. I have not tested on that device however.

Probalby they are going to be many challeges for its users on the notebooks but they are no problems that cant be solved (well, in the tech industry),right? i mean i saw some dude just a few minutes ago playing WOWC on the ipad!go google,do it.

@Felamine google should make android for the notebooks too,its so awesome.if desktops had a good future they could develop for that too. I think they should develop for notebooks, cos they are going to be aroud for a long time even after the demise of the desktop.

I used to have one of those old-style tablet PCs, basically they were a notebook with a touch screen that rotated outward to turn the computer into a tablet. Got rid of it years ago, but I wonder if Android x86 would have been able to run on it...

We have an identical Maxtor in our old HP computer running XP. Strangely more reliable than this one. Interesting beep too...

It was my first computer. Great laptop, works VERY slow sometimes, but after loading, works nice. Bad, now mine is broken, screen got completely crashed. But i'm going to repair it, install Linux Ubuntu on it, and use as second computer.
