Hello - this happened to mine the last time I rode it, the left-hand tank was bone dry and the RHS was full. I ran out of fuel on the road. i laid the bike over in the hedge for 5 mins before trying to start it. It did fire and got me home but the tanks still haven't levelled out. Mine is a couple of months of warranty, unfortunately.

Sorry I don’t have an answer, it looks like the pump that levels the tanks is pumping all the fuel from the left to right side and so it is overflowing. Looks like the float valve isn’t working which is why the fuel level on the dash looks empty and so the pump keeps going. I will do a little research.

As a boy growing up in Birmingham in the 60s and 70s, I heard birds in the woods and parks around me, some of which were destroyed by housing years ago, and was inspired by a love of them. This and Keats’s poem “Ode to a Nightingale” inspired me to start a novel in my teens. I called it “On the Death of a Nightingale”. I felt compelled by the premonition that the nature that was still abundant was on its way out, a thought I found hard to bear or even believe then. I never finished the novel, nor did I keep it, but the idea has never left me. Now of course we know it's true here in the UK. I can relate to Gary getting upset talking about his son not hearing any near their Gloucestershire home, though they had been abundant there. It upsets me too to think my grandchildren and others their age might wonder as adults why we removed so much habitat and never experience the magic of hearing nightingales sing as I did not long ago in a wood near Reading. The same is true of crickets, yellowhammers and many other species. I am however an optimist and encouraged by how quickly species return if we reinstate the habitats, as places such as Knepp in Sussex show. Let's get on with it!

Hi, and yes in Switzerland if you are not traveling at 120k per hour they think something is wrong with you. But personally as a 60 year old man it was more about how I got there rather than when ! You do pay 40euros to ride on the Swiss motorways but they are excellent.

I took my T7 out yesterday after letting it sit for a while from the heat and what not. I have other bikes as well. I got on it and being a bad boy with my bikes, I tend to develop a relationship with the different displacements, liking the smaller bikes, but getting back on the T7 you realizing why its such a great bike. Mid displacement is much more fun, but more demanding of your attention, but that's the art of it.
