Many aspects of this house are very nice, but they did a terrible job on the living spaces. It’s like it was built for two people instead of a family. The family room is too small and too many access points, the kitchen can’t even fit a kitchen table (people spend most their time in kitchen/family room), with the extravagant outside design, inside just looks like any regular drywall house, aside from some nice wood beams in the ceiling and some nice theming in some of the rooms. Movie theater is way too small, no front porch, back porch is too short, etc. Who tf built this?

You mentioned the buyer brings less to the table but that’s not usually true. The buyer typically needs cash for the seller’s equity at closing. So say seller owes $100k on mortgage. If house sells for $200k then the buyer brings $100k cash to close and then takes over the $100k mortgage at sellers interest rate for the number of years remaining on the loan. But overall it costs the buyer less money because of the better interest rate.

I would say, this house would be perfect for multiple generations family, wealthy of course, with full house stuff. Chef, house keeper, maid. Royal style……. It is a beautiful place……. Overall…… I personally don’t like it and never would like to live there……. But vacation there would be nice 🙃
