That's a great message. --- yet Leviticus 19:18 had already said: " to love your neighbor as yourself..." well before Jesus even thought about it, and 300 years _after Confuscius_ declared the same exact thought. And with that in mind, then Leviticus 25:44-46 clearly endorsed humans owning other humans in perpetuity 44) " Both your manslaves and womenslaves which you shall have shall be of the nations around you of them you shall you _shall BUY_ manslaves and womenslaves ..." 46) " And you shall take them as an INHERITANCE, for your children after you, to INHERIT them, as a POSSESSION [ as cattle and sheep and chickens were passed on ] " They shall be your manslaves and womenslaves FOREVER..." --- no 6 year emancipation --- no 49 year Jubilee --- permanent enslavement including their future children after them. Bible excuse makers will never tell their congregations that there were TWO systems of humans owning other humans in ancient Israel Always remember that _Jesus IS_ the God of the Old Testament, especially when you read Numbers 31: 13-18 in context.
