The bird represents Akira Toriyama who is flying to the heavens, since Tori means bird and he also did draw himself with a bird avatar and created Bird Studio.

It’s cool that you’re reading the light novels. The novels are a much better way to experience in my opinion since the anime take out a lot of stuff with volumes 6 and later on. One of my favorite things about the books that the anime takes out for some reason is the foreshadowing. There is a ton of foreshadowing and information on the world that is removed from the anime.

Idk what they were thinking with this animation...they really fumbled at the end of this series. This finale Ep. was decently animated to me but I think they let all the fans down with their "cgi movie."

In the manga when they say “but” the panel is a shot of a character's butt. I know it was in Japanese originally and the pun only works in English but I still think it's intentional. They likely wrote it knowing full well the pun would show up in English. 😂
