That shaft is 180° out there. It should want to naturally "fall" clockwise toward the indicating arrow on the oil pump housing, not away from it 👍

mine is only set at 2k rpm so i REALLY have to ride the clutch out. i need to get it retuned for 5k rpm but i also have a 415whp Evo 3 so idk if thats too high or not?

If you've deleted both balance shafts and installed a stubby shaft on the other side of that oil pump gear, do you not need to worry about it being 180 degrees out? Mine is deleted but doesn't want to naturally fall into the alignment mark.

Yes it does does. That EB evo was making around 480whp. The white one was making around 600whp.

Main thing I learnt about launching my Evo was to ALWAYS preload the drivetrain. Helps a ton with gear lash and really just primes everything up for the shock from launching.

was the change in sound really drastic? im currently running stock headers with side muffler deletes with the stock center muffler capped on the top inlet. Sounds nice however I would like a little more rasp.
