Clearly, you first underestimated the distance between you and the COG soldier you were engaging. Second, by dodging away from that frag, you put yourself in direct chainsawing distance of said COG soldier. Third, you were too serious to realize that no matter what, you're an NPC. You're not surviving the campaign.

I always give extra props to the players brave enough to play as RAAM or the Theron Guards in Gears of War 1 lol, they’re walking hit markers with their flappy skirts and are impossible to miss with the gnasher because the pellets hit everywhere.

In Gears of War 3 though, hitboxes highly differs between certain characters.

@@cesarst3720 It changed over time with each new release, but in Gears 1 if you have it test it out in split screen or with a friend, stand between different lengths of space and fire at the Theron’s in most shots that hit around the legs even hit the flap skirt and it counts as damage, it’s like extra real estate.

No one’s here mentioned this so Ima say in case people think its just an active snipe that downed you (In which they may be right and Im simply wrong). I dont think it was just an active snipe that got you, in the breathing/idle animation I saw Cole move slightly upward as he was inhaling and that’s is what also caused you to go down. Regardless, this is still a cheesy death.
