LMAO how do you go through this whole video without showing us their " calibration test record and total results from before and after?
@ayrtonm790710 күн бұрын
Complete BS. You don’t know anything. There is a reason why manufacturers recommend specific oil grades to match tolerances that the engines were designed for. Not all engines are the same, take a direct injection AE839, you put anything thicker than 0w20, you’ll suffer from low speed pre ignition effectively grenading your engine as the thick oil will push past the low tension piston rings, mix with the un-atomized gas droplets and boom, especially when cold. Facts don’t care about your opinions and until you can offer proof and lab results for each engine comparing manufacturer recommended oil and grades compared to whatever you decided works best with placebo effect, I would just stfu.

@@ayrtonm7907 get educated. starting with the fact that both engine codes are the same (CYMC) for 2017-2018 engines that call for 5W40 as well as my allroad (year 2020) that calls for 0W20. internally the engines have 0 differences. How do I know that? I rebuild these engines for a living already had a 2021 Q5 apart for a failure, and a 2018 A5 side by side. They are identical internally. Again, get educated please before you comment. Keep being naive, keep putting in piss water. Just like B9 S4 recommending 0W20, no wonder the rocker arms failing left and right. “There is a reason manufactures use 0W20” yeah that reason is to kiss the government’s ass and get better fuel economy and less emissions. That oil does nothing for engine protection and suffers from extreme viscosity breakdown

The ECS bottom plate that covers the exhaust and driveshaft tunnel flattens out the whole underbelly for not only good protection but also better aero. Also. The MK8 rear lower control arm aero guards fit on the MK7 as well. More lower under aero.

Regarding oil changes: Ask the question How long should your car last? Owners say 200-300k miles Mfrs say until warranty expires (some), or 100k miles. So if Manufacturer says 10k mile oil change but all the well versed car people say 5k miles or 6 months, do it more often. Even when you "drain the oil" you never drain all the oil, and there is nasty dirty oil near your valves and in small passageways. Nothing we can do about it, put in clean oil. The solution to pollution is dilution. What would it cost to buy more VW spec oil and filter and change it? It extends life of VVT (variable valve timing). Maybe pay for an extra oil change as a performance and longer life "mod".

I recently watched ur videos about your mazda 3, and since i have 2006 mazda 3 aswell i was wondering if i should install cold air intake, is it worth it. I know you have made a video about them but im curious if you had any problems with your mazda after installing it, and if its good for the car or if its completely useless

Thanks! This is a small but a good touch. I have an Allroad which has a 3-spoke steering wheel with one spoke being metallic, so metallic pedals fit well. I bought Chinese pedals and they seem good. The footrest is plastic but the pedals have a rubber coating which actually feels more grippy than the originals I replaced them with. Of course, you could get a worse version from another Chinese vendor. I had real trouble removing the brake pedal one. Then I figured you could push the left stud behind the pedal from the other side!

had to get youtube account to finally see this. Ive heard there is a new Alltrack Build happening. Very nice no more 1.8T, basically a true Golf R estate. this will be a beast so much more tuneing potential….
@e.m64993 ай бұрын
Honestly think once you do get this running with that turbo , you will be the fastest alltrack in Canada , the 2.0t is much more tunable then a 1.8t can ever be. Chris Chee did it with a 2.0 GTi motor, a few years ago and he is running Boss 600 turbo. are you running dq250? or dq380/381? If your running the DQ250 just be careful as these cant handle as much tq as DQ380/381, ….
@arsenyrazhkov45593 ай бұрын
The car already starts and runs. ECU is sent off to tunezilla to get tuned as we speak. And yes I know Chris Chee, I’ve been chatting with him on instagram about the project. We are both running the DQ250. Even my Tuner tunezilla runs the DQ250 in their 2016 Audi S3 on the same turbo which is basically the same engine and trans as golf R, they run 9’s in the quarter mile. 0 issues with transmission. I’ll be basically having the same setup
@e.m64993 ай бұрын
did you ask chris how many dq250 he had to replace already? i would get at least clutch kit
@arsenyrazhkov45593 ай бұрын
@@e.m6499 he broke it only once, and only the top hat of the transmission. The rest was fine, it was repaired and no issues since. If my DQ250 blows up then the plan would be DQ500 from RS3 for the ultimate beast
@e.m64993 ай бұрын
yeah he told me the same thing and i took that and made sure i did something before adding my big turbo and so far over 400 wtq not hub tq no issues. would love to see your build on a loaded dyno with wheels and tires on and all 4 wheels rolling…
@arsenyrazhkov45593 ай бұрын
@@e.m6499 soon as I get my ECU back I am going straight to the dyno, provided that I have no further bugs/glitches and no more coding is needed. But I am expecting to have the same power as tunezilla’s S3 since the drivetrain, bolt ons, and tune file are identical. 566WHP and 518WTQ on E60
