That's very nice what year for 1940 judging from those rims 1941 or as early as 1942 they look like lobdell's the reason why I say this is because I had at one time in my collection a 1939 cycle truck that had instead of the wheels like yours mine were enamelled drop Center rims and the bicycle was originally in yellow I sure like the way this bicycle is restored.
