Is the celebration of mass and eucharist for the forgiveness of sins? So like, a replacement of yom kippur? We no longer have to be Jewish and attend yom kippur with a Jewish high priest in Jerusalem temple and slaughter lambs for the forgiveness of sins. We get the best sacrifice/worship in any mass any place on the planet? It's now made available to every nation, tribe and tongue?  If someone rejects the mass, are they not also rejecting the forgiveness that it provides? ‭Matthew 26:27-28 NRSV-CI‬ [27] Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; [28] for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Drink from this cup of my blood for the forgiveness of sins! In the Old Covenant Jews would have to bring an animal for sacrifice to the temple priest to shed blood and cover sins. In the New Covenant Jesus is the priest and offering by combining his self as the pascal lamb and the bread and wine of the Melchizedechian order at the Christian altar. So how do we participate in that cup of the blood of the New Covenant ? How do we get it applied to us to cover sin? Just believe...thinking about it in our minds? Or John 6 and Last Supper commands

THE LAMB 🐑 OF GOD: Why do you think John the Baptist called Jesus the “lamb of God” (John 1:29 & 1:36)? Jesus is the pascal lamb 🐑 to be sacrificed. The Passover tradition started when Moses and the Israelites sacrificed an unblemished lamb 🐑 . In order to have the angel of death 💀 to Passover them, THEY HAD TO EAT THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB 🐑 (Exodus 12:8). This coincides with what the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:29: “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.”

SUPERNATURAL BREAD 🥖: Do you think 🤔 that when Jesus Christ taught us to pray 🙏🏽 and inserted “give us this day our daily bread 🥖”, He was referring to normal food❓ No! He was referring to the Eucharist‼️ The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains: The usual Greek word for “daily,” hemera, is, after all, used elsewhere in the New Testament, but not in this instance. Why did St. Matthew and St. Luke feel compelled to create a new Greek word to accurately reflect the words of Jesus? They most likely had to use a new word to faithfully translate a novel idea or a unique Aramaic word that Jesus used in His prayer. What was Jesus’ new idea? Although there are multiple levels of meanings to epiousios, Jesus is making a clear allusion to the Eucharist. “Our daily bread” is one translation of a word that goes far above our basic needs for sustenance, and invokes our supernatural needs. St. Jerome translated the Bible in the 4th century from the original Latin, Hebrew and Greek texts to form the Latin Vulgate Bible. When it came to the mysterious word epiousios, St. Jerome hedged his bets. In Luke 11:3, St. Jerome translated epiousios as “daily.” Yet, in Matthew 6:11, he translated epiousios as “supersubstantial.” The root words are: epi, meaning “above” or “super;” and ousia, meaning “being,” “essence,” or “substance.” When they are read together, we come to the possible translations of “super-substantial,” “above-essence,” or, in effect, “supernatural” bread. I have been interested in Catholicism recently as I have been following it while seeking the truth of Christianity. Through my learning and life experiences, I have come to agree with the Eucharist and the tradition down to the idea of Beauty. However, something has been bugging me. I live in India and have visited some Catholic churches, but I'm feeling something off. Maybe I'm overwhelmed by the statues of saints and other figures. I don't know why it feels off to me, though I really want to immerse myself in Catholicism. What could be the reason?

I have struggled with a new road of being parenting to my aging parents and dealing with their illnesses and fragility’s and the losses that come with it. I believe as a single person that was my road God have planned but an unexpectedly hard one mentally as well as being a parent but to two adults.

What? And nobody falls away? I would be extremely skeptical true faith was ever even there. For me itbis equivalent to taking the mark, no doubt easy prey

Luego conoci una mujer " muy Catolica" y despues de 5 an̈os de novios nos casamos por la "iglesia" Catolica. Al traerla a USA cambio mucho. A los 11 meses de estar en USA quedo embarazada de otro hombre y se fue de la casa. Yo no sabia que estaba embarazada hasta meses despues. Nos divorviamos pero el dolor y la rabia que tengo por la traicion es muy fuerte. Tambien le tengo mucho resentimiento a la "iglesia" ya que ella me habia encen̈ado que era la forma correcta de hacer las cosas. Se que debo perdonar pero pero es duro. Lo mas que quiero en la vida es tener una familia y ya tengo mas de 50 an̈os. Me siento derribado por la traicion de alguien que me trajo de nuevo a la "iglesia" Catolica.
