@@wjamesmci Honestly overweening pride is a tough boss, my characters are all Lv99 and sometimes I might be struggling with it too if luck isn’t on my side, but most of the time I managed to defeat him in less than 30 turns

@@LRRoblox yes I record and upload on the same day! And yeah it took me an off screen attempt to get the under 50 turn wish. I got lucky with the crits and with the additional enemys

@@wjamesmci You rlly need to get rid of those backups, they are very dangerous. So that is why I like to use Erik for double down cuz it does a lot of damage and you can kill the backup monsters all in one go. (You can find the video in my channel)

😁Yo, in this game if you go to sound and music settings, you can change the overworks ost to the DQ8 music.

Yeah I knew it was overworld music and I intend to use it at points! I did also do a full let's play of Dragon quest 8 so I do want to use the newer music as much as possible however

Awesome video! It’s so cool that you can get so many different room decorations in the game! Very cool! The only one I never got was the red flag above the couch. How did you get that flag if you don’t mind my asking? 🤔

I *think* this is a story progress item as I can't find it in the list of room decorations that I have. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! But thanks for the kind words!

Okay after a Google search it appears in your room after the events around 20th November! And it just appears in your room! Hope this helps!

Cute that Link writes his name on his shield. I wonder if he does that with his sword too, so he knows it's his when he loses it on the beach ;P lol at you saying "don't fall down holes" immediately before deliberately falling down one for a heart piece. Those "pieces of power" seem like Mario power ups

Well when you get the sword it says "you know its yours cause it has your Name on it!" Lol I was hoping no one would point out that I said about falling down holes. And yes I mention this further in the LP that This is secretly a Mario game....

You're right about "sit" vs "set", but in the Southern US, it's semi-acceptable to use "set" as a synonym for sit (or wait, or rest). Not something I would expect you to know as a Northern Irishman but wanted to share :-)

That's why I laughed when Oliver says no at the start cause if he had continued to say no, there would be no game and therefore no let's play lol

I found it weird that of all places they could have gone to test the car, they went near the only river there is, even though Oliver can't swim. But of course, there would be no game otherwise.

Ah that may of been why you got defeated in your playthrough then! Yeah I think normal like boosts a lot of the enemies stats etc

I bought this game a while ago, but eventually got stuck just after I got the ship becase enemies where utterly overwhelming me. I tried to figure out what I was doing wrong but eventually put the game aside. Now I'll follow along and see if I can move past that point.
