That would work except that Rocky wouldn't stay in there. The hot water bottle holds its heat well for a long time. 😊❤😺

I once lived in a house that was so close to the train tracks that the dishes rattled in the cupboards when a train went by. It was a place I stayed in the mid 1980's.

@@davidtoupal1015 I take a tea light candle and I have a soup tin that I've made a tinfoil receptacle in the top of the can for the candle to sit in. It works very well for heating things up. 😊

Dropping a fresh engine in an old truck is worth it even if it’s a technical total. Understand times are tough but you’ll end up spending waaaayyy more money on a new car. It’s always better to keep and slowly restore old cars UNLESS the rust is too bad and you aren’t handy with a welder

I agree except that you have to have the cash to do whatever your going to do. When the truck fails I'll be walking again most likely. The transmission is leaking now as well.

Buying the truck took all my savings and I went an additional $5,000 in debt on top which I'm still trying to pay off. Not driving was hard but I had managed to pay off $5000.00 of the $15,000 I had accrued in debt because I was heating my house on credit because I couldn't afford oil. Plus I had $5000.00 cash I had saved from working. Now I have no savings, plus I'm back at $15,000 in debt and am now buying propane to heat my camper and gasoline to run the truck on credit. I'm going to have to live in the truck come spring and I'm really frightened about that because the truck is dying and I am already living beyond my means by having it. I can't afford to drive. This is life in Canada. I managed for decades to keep a roof over my head and drive and was never in debt. Now I'm way in over my head just trying to stay in this side of the sod. I'm not alone either. There are so many of us in the same or similar circumstances now.
