Didn't know you had a Live Stream, so I missed it this morning. Don't mind the power pole or lines...I am a retired Powerline Worker. The mist in the background was pretty neat. I enjoy the ""on location" videos that you produce.

I just saw that the new Photoshop beta has an automatic way to remove power lines as part of the remove tool. Haven't tried it yet, but definitely sound very beneficial and would certainly help you here and leave just the pole to get rid of.

Sorry I missed it live. I was making a video myself. :). Next time you exposure bracket, try 3 shots. -2, 0, +2. So much easier. You will get the same results.

I will try that next time......I have used 3 shots before and thought I would try out the Nikon Z50 with 5 shots to see what it produces..

Great video, as a D500 & 500 PF owner I have been dithering about buying the Z8. I can’t part with the rig but I am interested in adding the Z8. Apparently the 500 PF is long enough to be useful on the Z8 for you and this was a question I’ve been debating, so thanks for answering that. I also have the OM-1 & Olympus 300mm with both teleconverters and they work very well so I have plenty of reach available. Keeping the weight to about 90 oz or less is important to me and this looks about right with the Z adapter. Thanks for the review.

Your welcome. I love my Z8 and with the 500pf it is very lightweight and I think it produces Excellent Results. I wish I could afford the 600pf Z Lens

My suggestion is stay the course with your channels and the content! The formula-matic (photography) channels with 200,000 or 500,000 or 1 million subscribers are mostly in decline. I've noticed the stats on a lot of those channels, getting only 2,000-7,000 views per video. So people subscribed to them at one time, then ditched on watching them... Interesting in-transit conversation(s) and thanks for the channel mention!

Great conversation! I agree a lot times mistake or not the first introduction is the best! Tim as far as people watching your photography channel or either of you for thot matter, if you connect with one subscriber-watcher and you make their day then you have made a difference. You both have done that for me! Keep up the great content on all your channels!

I have never been much of a fan of “live” videos. They always seem chaotic and or discombobulated and I lose interest rapidly so I just choose to avoid them. If the main objective in your video is to sell me something or enlighten me on some secret for success, then I can promise you I will either click off quickly or not click on at all. I have zero interest in product review videos of something that I will surely never purchase, so those won’t get watched. I like videos about places to take photography and how to find them and maybe your thoughts on capture decisions. I could “not” care less about what gear you use unless your goal is to bad mouth or diminish other brands, then I will more than likely unsubscribe. I prefer photography channels that focus on “photography”. If I want to watch videos on editing, then I will choose a channel that focusses on that. I will watch some that cover both if the subject is of interest to me. I prefer videos without music because I feel it competes with the video. Poor audio is less tolerated than poor video. My two cents

They rushed the z7ii... The 6ii and 7ii seemed like an afterthought. They should've held out to get the newer processor in there. I just want it to be a smaller z8 and keep the mechanical shutter lol. Wouldn't mind a good apsc though either.

I hit the like button for myself and the person that made the video. If I'm looking for an answer to something I don't need to watch the same video twice in most cases. If I'm on a mission to find an answer I may need to watch a bucket full of videos so by hitting the like (or dislike) button it helps them out and it helps me out because I can see I've already watched that video. I have a close circle of friends that I share tons of videos with.

What bothers me about the battery is the gauge. One minute it says full battery the next minute it’s flashing red and the next minute it’s back to full then it’ll go to medium then it goes back to full then it will flash red. I like to change my batteries when they turn red and not let them run completely out, but the Z 50 turns red before it is really at the red level. Drives me crazy lol The one nice thing about the 16 to 50 is it is tiny. Probably less than a third the size of the 14-30. But as you have demonstrated the 14-30 works great on the Z50.

It’s going in for the conversion next week. I am satisfied with the quality of the images from this sensor. I will still be waiting for Nikon to do the right thing and bring us a very capable APSc camera in the future. I will strictly use the Z50 for Infrared Photography.

Heather made an amazing landscape photo with my old D7100. One of my favorites of mine was with that camera too. I bought it on Amazon Cyber Monday sale for something like $850 brand new. Great camera with the right battery and lots of resolution for it's day, more than D7500 D500 Z50 D7000. Tons of noise above 1600 ISO and no tilt screen are really my only gripes with that camera. I agree, sometimes or even often shooting alone is the best way. If one person wants to stay and another wants to move on, that doesn't work well. I'll be interested to see how your Z50 infrared conversion goes. Maybe if Nikon ever makes Z90 / Z70 I'll convert my Z50 too. I was going to disagree about shooting at high frame rates but then I remembered that I have not used my Z8 above 8FPS in several outings even for birds in flight. I'm sure when Heather and I go to Florida in March I'll bump it up to 20 FPS to give myself the best chance to get the perfect wing position of the in flight Spoonbills we are after. Sorry I missed you that day.
