Hi Doug, What is the exact procedure of doing this? - Anything to unlatch inside the cockpit other than the center piece? Thanks!
@doughauser9535Ай бұрын
The header latch is all it takes, plus the power mechanism working for the top of course.

I never had access to this particular model. It sure brings back great memories of GM during the 60's. Those seats are like a bringing your sofa to the drive in theatre. Wish I had the money.

The 400 is referring to the 3 speed Super Turbine 400 transmission with switch pitch converter. The base LeSabre had the Super Turbine 300 2 speed with the switch pitch converter.

From what I could see it has a few Buick accessories like the Deluxe Belts, Door guards, Remote mirror and passenger mirror Buick floor mats. I have also been with the Buick club Of America for over 20 years and have a 67 Special Deluxe bought new by my great grandparents. I don't think the LeSabre ever had a option of a Buick Road Wheel. A Riviera or Wildcat 15" should fit.

She's a beauty for sure . Gotta go old school with the original Buick wheels IMO .

This is an excellent presentation of a lovely car in beautiful condition. I believe when the gentleman narrating had pointed out the absence of "Cornering Lamps" he actually meant to say "Side-Marker-Lights" or "Side-Running-Lights" as these had become a federal safety standard the following year, in 1968. Whereas "Cornering Lamps" being located at the front side fenders only, had been around for years. Their purpose was to illuminate dark corners of roadways being turned onto when making a left or right turn.

I have a very similar car. Q code, two door, same crap brown color 😀 but had dark brown vinyl top. Car has only 10K miles on it but previous owner's family left it outside and the sun faded the paint and destroyed the top. They covered the interior though so it is in excellent condition. It has rare cloth seats. I tried to bring the paint back but it is too far gone so will need to be repainted. I'll probably do a color change but nothing too far from original. Maybe dark metallic gold or a candy root beer. Unfortunately these cars aren't worth a lot of money. My car restored to original would only be worth $15K to $20K even with low miles and the 428. What's the deal with the '30/'31 Model A Tudor hot rod?
@doughauser95358 ай бұрын
Hot rod is a radical high end build that was prev featured in Popular Hot Rodding magazine. $145k build can be had for about half of that. Will be for sale nationally in next 45 days

It's not that I'm an internet troll, it's that if the shaker sticker is inaccurate, how am I expected to believe everything else you say about the car? For 35k the decals ought to be 100% accurate.
