She's was incomparable. There's something about the tone of her voice that always relaxed me and simultaneously put me in a good mood. I will forever be thankful that our souls were on this earth at the same time. There isn't a moment during my 20s and 30s that her voice wasn't a part of. God Bless you Whitney. Your voice will live on while you rest in peace.

The finest solo vocalist, male or female, who has ever lived and, quite possibly, ever will live. What is particularly amazing about this song is that she supposedly had already lost some of her voice to her drug habit when this scene was filmed. How exciting a time to have an African American appear on the national stage and really tear up and shred this song they way she did! I was a kid when Whitney came on the music scene. Saw her in concert. She shone like a diamond and no one can top her! She had to navigate being 'black enough' or 'white enough' but she always knocked it out of the park and was so gorgeous. What a talent and class act and genuinely sweet person. RIP Whitney the GOAT! No one can top her talent and heart.
