I didn't recall any terrorist attacks over the past few years. Isn't it always a coincidence that when the government wanted a war and people were tired of fighting new wars, all of a sudden there is multiple terrorist attacks in just a few weeks? They want wars with Syria and maybe even Iran if the government is that reckless. All of these wars isn't for US interests, whatever happens to the Middle East doesn't affects America at all. We know who these wars the US fights for. Iyah is right for calling them out. And yes, that tiny country, the size of New Jersey in the Middle East is going to cause Armageddon. They want the Anti C to come down ASAP.

@ I don’t doubt that the United States government organizes false flags from time to time to keep the population under control. The most glaring example of that of course would be 9/11. I don’t agree that all these wars are solely to protect Israeli interests. I think the real answer is money, and the greed of international corporations. As an example, it would be hard to explain the United States interest in the Ukraine as having anything to do with Israel. I think what we are looking at is an extension of the great game that was fought in the 19th century to try to get control of the vast resources of Eurasia, that region that includes Russia itself and many of the former Soviet provinces. See Mike Benz very convincing explanation. Further, I highly doubt that the Israelis are interested in trying to summon the antichrist since that is a Christian prophecy not a Jewish one!

And since she doesn't manifest her convictions, there's nothing to "disagree" with her over. If anything, she calls on people not to feed from the "semi-finished" opinions inserted into people's heads by the lying media, corrupted politicians and money-hungry corporations, and to try to think for themselves, avoid going binary, "left or right", and put an effort to reduce chaos, hatred and polarisation of the society over literal informational noise

It is interesting, however, that this song has brought out people who don't normally watch my channel, and if I had to guess are on the other side of the political spectrum, especially with respect to the Palestinian issue. That may be good marketing on Iyah's part, doing something that Tom MacDonald was very good at in his earlier years, trying to appeal to both sides of the spectrum. Ultimately, it is not a sustainable position, however, as the left has gotten more & more deranged, approving of political assassinations of Trump, Health company CEOS and the killing of innocent people such as in the recent terror attack in New Orleans-witness the demonstrations in NYC in support of terrorism. We are very much distracted by insignificant things like Kim or Kanye when those at the very top feed on our despair and as you correctly stated, get richer and richer as a result. I do disagree with your views on israel however. You are correct to state that Hamas uses children as human shields according to the UN and the Israelis, but one may also argue that, this is the inevitable consequence of modern warfare. Ultimately, Israel with its largely superior military has the resources and intelligence with the assistance of the US, to target and destroy Hamas instead of killing children indiscriminately, as they did with Rind Hijab which I would recommend you to read up on if you have some time :). But I really appreciate an artist who doesn't compromise her beliefs and as we don't know much about, you are correct to state that we should perhapsm take a cautious stance until we get a better understanding. Aretha is my favorite singer of all time, but I have always liked Otis Redding's original "Respect" the best. IMO, often the question "who did it better" is not really applicable. Level of popularity doesn't make it better. It's the individual's rating for themselves. I like a lot of songs that aren't really good or great songs, and the vocalists are not the best. In my mind, many remakes are different songs. For instance, "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" by Aretha and En Vogue. Also, "Sweet Thing" by Mary J. and Chaka. Or "Cry Me A River" by Ella Fitzgerald and Julie London. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, just different. And I love both versions of each song.

Great song, great analysis. It’s quite confronting when you pay attention to how many songs of that era are still scarily relevant. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, though, I suppose. I have a loosely developed theory, actually. That the mechanisms which have led to the sorry state of free democracies today, were put in motion during the 30s & 40s - perhaps earlier - but the intended decline was unexpectedly paused & delayed by rock & roll. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 didn’t count on the powerful, unifying force of music during the cultural revolution of the 60s & 70s. So, they destroyed music. And look what’s become of us.

The same thing Biden and Kamalla were trying to push here in the states BTW. But the taxes that come with a deal like that are way too high. And the government gets to pocket all that extra money you now have to pay. Maybe your student loans get paid for, but you still pay for it in tax hikes. Nothing in life is free. Thankyou for this. I agree with you entirely. I wasn’t born at the time of the Murder Most Foul. I inherited my interest from my uncle, who was about 9 at the time. It affected him deeply, as some tragedies tend to do, when they occur during formative years. He must’ve read every book ever published on the matter, but only once did he actively recommend that I read one - ‘JFK And The Unspeakable’, by James W. Douglass. I found myself reading much of it with my jaw literally hanging open. This song not only brings me to tears, but causes me to sob. Every time. Even when broken up for commentary, apparently. It contains so much, that I suspect I may never appreciate every reference. Particularly as an Australian, who didn’t live through it, I sometimes find it difficult to keep track of all the names of the players, and where they fit. I appreciate how many bases your summary covered, and the little things, like naming all the suits in the Warren Commission photo. Also, I had no idea about any of the info you discussed regarding the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ - Deep Ellum, or the line from ‘Deep Elem Blues’ by The Shelton Brothers. I’d love to know if someone really said to Bob, "Son, the age of the Antichrist has just only begun", and if so, who it was. I have come to agree, and I certainly believe that was the day democracy died. And that the people chose to ignore it. It chills me to the bone. But, JFK himself was an optimistic man. A beacon of hope and inspiration. So I try not to despair. “𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚--𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙣. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨. I only knew him at the Castle in 1966 when I was photographing him at our place while he was conversing with Tom and John Law who owned the Castle. I would prepare his meals and massage him in the evenings and photographed him every time I had a chance. He didn't seem to mind. I had no idea that many people were photographing him. He was so relaxed about it. One day as he was coming down the stairs from his room he told me he was going to marry Sarah. I had no idea she was already pregnant with their first child.I am glad we were just friends. We were because Tom was his dear friend since they had both worked with Albert Grossman at the Bearsville recording studio near Woodstock. I live with him daily because I sell his photos on line and in many galleries and they hang on the walls of my house and follow me wherever I go, most recently to the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where his images line the staircase to the second floor and a huge on greets you once you have entered the main entry way. I feel close to him even though we haven't seen each other since his gigs in New Mexico some 20 years ago. A month ago I went to a concert at the Lensic Performance art space when Jakob Dylan played. This is a ridiculous comparison because Jimi here kept to the song whereas SRV made it loose and left the song for just a long jam. He didn't even use the lyrics. Jimi's improvisations on other songs had so much more creativity and were not repetitive (unlike SRV's use of the same fast licks over and over again). With SRV I admire his technique but I never think: how did he come up with that?). With Jim's improv I constantly think that. That is the difference between a great technical player (SRV) and a musical genius/a one-off original(Jimi Hendrix).
