I would say it's whoever added the sound. I like the sound and honestly didn't even register that it sounded like an Alco. But how that you mention it, I can hear an Alco for sure

I might be wrong, but if I am correct, she was built in 1941 at the Lima locomotive Works and she was in service until 1951. I believe then she was retired and taken to scrapyard stored in a barn for a very long time and then, somewhere along the line, she was moved to the Spartan Stadium in Lansing Michigan cosmetically restored and displayed out there for a while and then some engineering students decided to restore her and I do believe that they were actually going to scrap her if they stopped restoration, but they never stopped, and eventually they got steam back to her and then They were doing excursions for a while and now she runs as the North Pole express every December or excuse me every November through December. I believe it might be longer. I’m not sure I just saw her last weekend. I’m going to see her again this weekend and I’m gonna follow her up to Ashley Michigan where she stops for the north Pole express Truly beautiful train and by the way this is a very good review. I love the channel man I just found it today keep it up.

Am I able to add cars behind this model?
@dennisb9157 Жыл бұрын
What's the maximum # of cars you were able to put behind it?
@connorandjimsvillerailroad Жыл бұрын
That's a really great question, I haven't done a test of how many specificly since I don't have too many cars. But it's definitely been able to pull 10-12 just fine on my layout

2-8-4s on the C&O, NKP and PM were designed for fast freight service but were used in passenger service on occasion. 70 out of 90 C&O 2-8-4s, along with 15 out of 80 NKP 2-8-4s were actually built by ALCO. Great video!
