A vulture will always bully an eagle on the ground. In the air it is a different story.

It’s nice to think of the eagle as the king of the sky but this is just reality. The vulture has a clear size and weight advantage. Flight is the eagle’s best bet.

Yes I did
@oldschoolhawking81912 жыл бұрын
@@chasmoonie3403 Wow nice Chas, I'm always interested in the goshawk nesting population in the British Isles. I know at one point they were almost non-existent, but because of falconers losing their birds, or releasing them in the wild after they were done flying them, they started nesting again. Are you familiar with that scenario?
@chasmoonie34032 жыл бұрын
@@oldschoolhawking8191 Yes indeed I am, although lots of Gos are in remote areas now and the chance of persecution is less. Lots are still killed by gamekeepers with pheasant shoots unfortunately
@oldschoolhawking81912 жыл бұрын
@@chasmoonie3403 That's unfortunate, I seen the videos on those gamekeepers. I subscribed to your channel, I'll be looking for some more of your videos. I have about a dozen or so videos of American Goshawk nests on my channel. I'm so intrigued with them. Stay safe Chas.

Eagles family of birds are not smart animals. Their behaviour is weird. Today I was close to catch a hawk bare hand on my balcony. They are not fast at all. All they have is sharp and strong pawl and beak because they are genetically soulless predators.
@juangarrido74302 жыл бұрын
Seriously? To be a predator you should to be more clever than your preys, for that reason lions or wolves are more intelligent than deers or zebras for example. Okay, eagles aren't not clever like ravens or parrots but for sure they are. And hawk should be very fast cause they must to prey to survive, golden eagle is the second fastest animal around the world just after peregrine falcon and guess... both are bird of prey. Maybe the hawk around your balcony is injured or something.
@Ali-Rida2 жыл бұрын
These type of birds are fast only when they dive in the sky! BTW, for you probably mafia and thieves are “clever”; hope the criminals have some fun with you!!

@@Ali-Rida What are you talking about? We are talking about nature and animals, why you said stupid things about criminals??? Watching the wing flapping of the Sparrowhawk and the falling of the Pheasant's feathers in slo-motion really create a powerful effect! It would have helped to add some sort of a theater song to the video as well.

That's the beauty of nature right there! I would join this Sparrowhawk in that pigeon that he is feasting on! It is definitely a spot-on video that really focuses on just hawk and the meal!
