I have both a Sailor 1911 S and a Pro Gear Slim and love how Sailor nibs write. Since you also have both Pro Gear Slim and this Pro Gear, how do the grips compare in size? I absolutely love this FIKA Cup pen and would love to own it, but usually like the slimmer pens. Do you notice a big difference? (I'm looking for a reason to buy this! 😊) Thanks so much for this unboxing and review!

The Ferno is my favorite version of the VP. ❤ I love VPs in general and used them as my daily for years. Then tried a Decimo and realized that the smaller size was better for me. But then the Fermo came along and became my “Goldilocks” pen as it’s right in between the VP and Decimo and the Fermo feels substantial and built like a tank without it being too heavy. Highly approve! And if I get tired of the nib, I just swap with my other VP nibs! ❤

Just cleaned my pilot fermi which was inked with lamy crystal amazonite. I use my pens mostly in transcribing a page in journal dedicated to Our Daily Bread daily gratitude messages. It feeds my soul. Michael Connelly's Ballard and Bosch series are what I'm reading and journaling right now. I also use my inks as watercolor in my art journal. Watching the tones of color emerge is like watching a flower bloom. I have to experience the D.C. Show at least once maybe this year since it would be a day trip for me. I still have to read Priory of the Orange Tree, and I’m scared of that one - Nevermind the huge 2nd one. 😂😂😂 I think you should talk about books and things if that’s what you want to talk about. I haven’t really read much the last couple years. I’d love to get back to it, but can’t make myself sit down to do it. As for pen things, I truly do believe there’s room for everyone- I know you said you’re over searching videos right now, but I feel that everyone has an opinion about an ink, a pen, a tool that we all use, and everyone’s voice is valid. When I’m in a place of not consuming as much, I try to revisit things I might have shown off or use a comment to spur some idea, but it can be difficult. Whichever way you go - taking a break or shifting to current interests - I wish you the best and look forward to whatever comes out of it.

I enjoy watching your videos and sorry to hear you may step away. I watch as I enjoy your view of things and that you are not like everyone else.Yes, I enjoy the pens and ink swatching most of all but we all go through phases and changes with our likes and interests from time to time. If you are into books and your travels now, then do vids on those. People will watch if interested or not watch. It’s ok. Not everyone can travel so they can enjoy yours. We may not interact or comment with the people we watch but we are here and will watch and enjoy your content. ☺

Honestly I have all of my old rings and I bought the pre-punched gilded edged pages from sterling ink just in case I got the urge to use a ring system...I haven't. I think my issue is that to carry what I need, the small rings just wouldn't work, but the standard size rings that come in the filofax and Chloe & Neely binders would be heavier than my B6 planner so I just stick to the bound book.

If you dip the pen like you are doing into the ink bottle, there is no way you can know if the writing experience is of a wet writer or a dry one, it is always to be wet! ...please know better the pen dynamics before making a video...

Not only is your information wrong, your attitude is terribly wrong too. Dipping the pen just charges the feed, and the pen works exactly the same way.
