Never was sure about the benefits of tedding, seems to me it just knocks more leaves from the hay.
@stevemorlock5 күн бұрын
We always do it right after the haybine, I imagine it probably knocks leaves off if the hay was dryer, it really makes the hay dry fast though

Oh yea, it was supposed to storm early in the day so Dave said I’ll mow hay and make it rain. Luckily it was only a 2 acre field. Lost power for a few minutes after the storm was gone so I was only able to get 1 beer down

Nice and relaxing video. Normally i like a good rainshower😊. But the last 7 months have been crazy wet. 40 inches between october 15 and april 15 , and then the last month an other 6 inches. Fields are wet and the groundwaterlevel in some hayfields is above the surface🤔

Nice video, Your video really brought back a lot of good memories because I grew up around New Holland balers. That self-driven/self powered NH baler was so cool. I never knew one like that existed before I watched your video, but it only makes sense because back in the day it seems like all the farm implement companies back then had a self-driven version of something. (Which I thought had a cool factor of 11)

I just came here to check out that 4600 International Truck with the grain bodies attached to the frame. It looks like a pretty simplistic design ... (Just curious)Did you ever make a video on how it was done?
@stevemorlock3 ай бұрын
Never did a video on that, built it before I started KZbin. Wasn’t to hard to do, just bolted it down with body bolts and some all thread. Sadly last year was the last load for that beauty. Steering gearbox is leaking oil out as fast as you can put it in and we’re not going to put any money into that. Our grain mill is only a few miles away and gravity wagons behind tractors work just fine
@BrianSmith-lo3mj3 ай бұрын
