@@thekingofbeasts9324 All I can say is, paper ka level to tha, compared to sample papers, is was a bit level up. To jisne tyari ki hai, uske liye cheejein theek rahengi. Baki agar tough aata hai to cut off bhi kam jaati hai. So all the very best👍

Nice approach. A better one would however be to use Euler Totient Function. a^ø(35) congruent to 1 mod 35. Or a^ 24 congruent to 1 mod 35. a^24=(a^12)² So (a^12)² congruent to 1² mod 35 Thus through reverse engineering we prove that a¹² congruent to 1 mod 35.

Thanks, I appreciate your approach but the reason I used the Fermat's Theorem approach is that the question in that particular book was under exercises of Topic- "Fermat's Theorem" which is why I used it. Moreover, the Euler Totient function is discussed later on (a few topics after this question) in the book
