@@ruthiesiegel207 Oh Sorry... No, I fussy cut a handful of "masks" where I stamped them on a sticky material similar to a post-it note and then covered them up and moved my masks as I created my little letter pile. Then I just cut them all out connected together along the top outside outline.

Yes, I used the coordinating Die set. They are two separate pieces that layer together.

Hi there! I'm so sorry I'm only just now seeing your question. We provide direct links to layering guides on the individual product pages in the product description where you can print them out, but they are also always shown as the second image right below the main product photo so you can pin them. When using the direct link to our layering guides, there's a little printer icon in the top right so you can print them out and keep them with the stamp sets. The black outlines on our layering guides indicate where that stamp layer touches and lines up the previous layer. I alternate the way I create the guides depending on what I personally found easiest in my own stamping, but for lining-up purposes I often find it easiest to start with the smallest layer in the darkest ink color and work my way backward to the most solid light ink color, utilizing both corners of my two MISTI's. Then after getting my layers set up correctly, I will mass produce them starting with the lightest color and working towards the darkest, making sure to allow plenty of time for the ink to dry between layers so they don't bleed together. To get my layering stamps lined up perfectly, If you don't have more than one MISTI another trick I often use is to start by stamping a half dozen or so of the first, lightest layer for each style onto scraps of printer paper cut down into small squares. Then when I'm ready to position my second layer I have plenty of scraps on hand to test the position and get it just right before messing up my good ones stamped on cardstock. Once I get my layers set up, I love to mass produce my images assembly line style all at once so I have plenty of choices ready to grab and go when I'm ready to sit down and create cards.
