this just happened to me this morning and i had no idea. i was on lifesteal when this guy said does anybody want some loot i msg him and he said just verify your mc account, with my user and my e-mail. I thought nothing of it becasuse both of those are public so its not like they could do anything- thats what i thought. I try to play mc the next day (today) and it says i dont own minecraft, so i try to log into my microsoft account to play mc but my e-mail does not work. Then as i reload the page in the slot for e-mail it is a random e-mail and i have to idea that this happened. So i google it and now im not able to play minecraft because i got hacked..... edit: im gonna try to contact microsoft about this Edit 2: Microsoft is useless and doesn't wanna do anything so I'm forced to spend 30 more dollars on mc again
