What's up man...I have been doing ok with the red eye shad...since our first real cold weather a couple of months ago, I've been catching fish every time I go out on a the old gold/black back red eye...once water temp gets below 60, it's game time...love this time of year...

thanks for the info...I fish the chain a few times a year...I actually like it when it gets cold and they feed up for the spawn...I'll be in Apopka for the first time in my life Saturday and then I have a club tournament first Saturday of Feb...hopefully, I can find them...nice to hear there are pads in there...tightlines!

Tournament fishing can really ruin your love of fishing. Ask me how I know.

Hi Joe only been fishing for 2 years, it would be good to understand by month which are the best 3 baits, how you fish them and where to fish them (Kissimmee grass, lily pads, shell beds, Hydrilla…..etc.

Good stuff Joe, everyone started somewhere at some point. This is your start to something that you can help fellow anglers and build content around. Let me know if you need any help with anything man.

Sounds like a great idea Joe. I’d certainly tune in for it. I’d love to keep updated with things like the changes in weather, post hurricane effects on fishing, local tournaments, water and vegetation conditions. That would be a win to hear from local fishermen on things like that.

Black senko worm, and change my presentation as needed, start with a wacky rig and then go from there depending on conditions.

I’m glad you mentioned the non aggressive bite and dinks. I ended up gut hooking one yesterday at the boat ramp because they were previously short-striking and I would miss them. So this time I waited (apparently too long) after I felt a very slight bump. This was even after I downsized my worm. Thanks for sharing.
