My parents purchased the Head Master of Camdean Primary School's house in Kings Road in the seventies and turned it into "Wendonama Guest House". The farm used to belong to R Jenkins and we kept our horses there. Used to run at Pitreavie. Most of my friends lived in Camdean/Rosyth Great memories :)

Lived at 86 Fraser Road when I was younger, with my parents. Next door was Bill & Peggy Welch. Had to move out when I was 15. Great sense of community up there. Dad had one of the wooden garages next to the air raid shelter.

Martin, thank you for sharing all of these films - many memories evoked. I was born and grew up in Camdean Crescent and my grandparents lived at 6 Fraser Road (the Harty's). It was a sad day when they had to move out of the bungalow and into a one-bedroomed flat opposite the Co-op.

Hi Martin Rodgers, my name is Clive Johnson originally from inverkeithing and I'm currently looking for old photos of the fleet grounds along admiralty road where the ex lexmark building is now. My dad used to be the head groundsman Bert Johnson and he was there for years and we used to look after the grounds for the naval fleet docking and coming up for some recreational sports. I love your old videos and I'm desperately trying to find old archive photos or videos of the pavilion and fields. If you could help that would be well appreciated. Many thanks. My email is [email protected].

When you come to the bottom of Lowry Road you join Talbot Road not Alexander Road. When you drove up Castle Road the first left was Talbot Road which stretched along past Lowry, Hamilton to the small roundabout at the bottom of Burney Rd, kinked slightly left then it was Alexander. I was born at no 7 Talbot Road and lived there till 1967.
