Based on my experience and my research, finding a job here can be challenging due to a number of factors, but to be fair, I think it's the same as in any other places within Canada or even outside Canada. I think few things to consider would be - if your line of work is in demand here, how much are your pay expectations, and your readiness to change your lifestyle and your way of life (if moving from a place you've been in for a long time). Great advice and suggestion for all our new comers. I would also like to add to tip #2 that people want to know you did your own work. We have to be so mindful of other people's time in such a busy world. Study to show yourself approved and come to the question table prepared to ask better questions like you suggested...Winters are brutal so yes! Financial prep and for rent is an absolute must!
