I am 69 years old and got my Onewheel pint last February 3. It took me about a week to feel comfortable on it also. My biggest probs were starting out and stopping . I programmed it to "Simple Stop" and now that is a lot easier for me. Just come to a stop and lean back and touch the ground with the back and it's easy. Step right off. I can take off without support but if there is anything nearby I will hold on to that as I launch. I have been riding it for 6 months now.. off and on.. and feel good on it...however I will be selling it soon because I just don't ride it enough to justify a thousand dollars...Great battery.. I went 5.1 miles one day starting out with a full charge and after the 5.1 miles the battery was at 57%! I think that is awesome. I got 64 miles on it now. Thanks for the video.. It is good.

Like your review. On the battery: it is meant to be a transitional camera for the DSLR users. They did not change the battery to make it easier to move off the DSLRs - keep your lenses, battery, etc and get a mirrorless full frame. You should also take advantage of the adapter to use auto-focus and manual lenses instead of the R lenses.
@derejeambatchew6083 жыл бұрын
Looks like I should have finished watching before commenting - you speak on the adapter. Manual lenses can be very effectively used on the RP with the focus assist functionality and there are some great used manuals for cheap (buy cheap third party adapters for Nikon, Olympus etc. mounts).

@@codyinprogress5397 why is it more comprehensive? Nikon has a wider choice of more budget lenses for budget bodies. The RF lenses are very expensive for such a cheap basic camera.

The Z5 is a far better camera than the RP. People who buy the RP instead of the Z5 are mostly ones that have bought in to the hype that Canon is no 1, the best, and hear the Nikon bashing all over KZbin. They choose the crappy RP in order to get in to a system that they believe has a bright future, not for the actual camera. My opinion anyway.
@codyinprogress53973 жыл бұрын
RF and Z platform are very similar. Lenses are fewer than other systems and super expensive. Both have comparability for older lenses, and the older lenses have a massive library of options. So, you’re right this is looking at the better entry and having more faith in the system because I have no interest in selling a ton of lenses to move from canon to Sony or Nikon. I wanted to make a decision that would set me up for a long time. The Z5 is a strong contender in this category, but I like the RP and the Canon system.
