The only thing that I would advise is that you cook the rice in the liquids that you're cooking your chicken in. You may need to add extra liquid. It looks beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

I steamed the bell peppers while preparing the filling, so I baked for 20 minutes. Turned out very well ❤

I've made these dozens of times. My favorite are the ham, Gruyere cheese and a little mustard on the dough before baking. Some sesame seeds on top add a little extra interest also.

Soooo I am not where this food is from and not accustomed to cook it but Thanksgiving in the south got to me this year and I cooked this delicious dish! I couldn’t believe the taste with just a few instructions and ingredients. I will try this with spinach or cabbage next time because collard greens are hard to come by in the city. Thank you, I had a blast cooking this!!!!

I am a 75-year-old great-grandmother, always looking for faster and easier ways to cook. My roots are in Mississippi and I had two parents who were excellent cooks...from scratch. My mom owned a restaurant after moving to Baltimore, Md. before I was born, until I was about 12 or 13. My father began teaching me how to cook when I was ten. I said all that to say, I know what I'm doing in the kitchen, very, very well. My thing is that It's no fun cooking and eating alone and so I need to find quick, and easy recipes that don't compromise on flavor. I think this is going to be one of them. The one adjustment for me will be to add some broccoli to the rice before adding the chicken. That way, I don't have to cook my veggies separately. I cook like you do, I eyeball it. When you know what you're doing, measuring really isn't necessary. I checked out several videos, but yours was what I was looking for. Thank you, sweetie, I love your style. I will be checking you out again for some quick and easy recipes. I am no longer cooking for 7-9 people, but I do share with two ladies in my building who are somewhat limited in their abilities, plus I do still love to cook for others.

I have a black stove and refrigerator. They're beautiful and fit nicely in my black/white kitchen but goodness! They're a pain to keep shining! Every little drop or splashes from skillets destroy my pretty stove. I have a couple of cats too and seems like just when I'm done polishing the stove top, one of them jumps up on the counter and leaves little kittie paw prints all over it! (Sometimes I think they wait til it's nice and clean!)
