I might recommend putting on some white paint before going in with color. That way the colors pop and you don't have to use as much and it makes it a little cleaner. Also sealing with something like modge podge can protect against damage. I like the colors used. Much more fun than before!

Haha!! You won’t find too much drab colors here! Although I do love those neutral colors in the way crafters make them, but I tend to be drawn to colors. Thanks for the comment!

We did something similar in junior high art class with old picture frames that have glass fronts. The ghost was painted on the side of the glass facing inward ( the ghost's eyes and mouth painted first) ...with dark gray paper background. Looked better than it sounds. There's also a " scrying mirror"...any old picture frame with the inward side of the glass painted black, which makes for a dark mirror. Goodwill and ReStore have tons of picture frames cheap...the old beat to crap ones make good Halloween props...

Some of those big " medicine balls" have air valves so you can inflate/deflate them....and you could reuse it...

Clear spray paint or a few good coats of polyurethane over the top to give it a good seal for rain will prolong its life! Also, if you bring it in in the winter time, it will help!!
