Thanks so much for this video. I’ve had some wood laying in my yard for months but didn’t have a clue how to get started. You’ve inspired me and given me lots of extra ideas. Just wondering if you do anything else to the wood apart from drying it out? Can you drill while wet or will that make it split? All the best with the new business! Very happy to hear it has had such a success!!

I live at the beach as well. I'm making some of these for myself. Very good job. Looks great. Question, do u need to give them room to grow? Will they need to be divided later?
@NorCalSucculentShop Жыл бұрын
You can space the plants out and they will fill in over a few months. I pack them close and tightly together because I like the way they look and haven’t had any issues. After about 6 months I have replanted new plants with smaller ones.

Do you sell just the carved wood & if so, how much?
@NorCalSucculentShop Жыл бұрын
I normally sell the carved wood with succulents planted. I’m all out of driftwood at this time. I waiting for a storm to blow some wood on shore.

Great job! I LOVE Fatbobs Wood Co and what that dude can do with a Dremel. Brings wood carvings to life! Using regular boards for Christmas trees though is absolutely 2 thumbs up in my book. Sure appreciate you sharing. 🙂

@NorCalSucculentShop2 жыл бұрын
I think when I made this video I didn’t have a foot petal yet. So I would have the speed set at about 3/4 of top speed. Now that I have a foot petal I Throttle up and down as needed but mostly top speed
