That was brilliant but history tells us there is no such thing as an "average" British soldier.

PAGANS. keep spitting. Then you are no longer a Patriot of this country. So be it. Make your choice, or grow up and be a man and join the cause.

Big Fat Peter Kay, And his Brigade of oddball identical twins... Zounds! Beggars belief! Well, Afghanistan Ali must have experienced some bad days at the office whilst attempting to deal with you ghastly drunken yobbos... Ghastly! Absolutely Ghostly! Shall write a retrospective letter of complaint to the Guardian. 😣 🇬🇧✝️

I served from 95 to 06, did Afghan and Iraq, nearly broke me when I came home due to drink and the feeling of being used by the government and corporations, back stronger than ever now but still have dark moments about my buddies and the greater military community who died for fuck all , yes I said it, never forgotten, I will never be fooled again, I would only pick up a rifle now if the enemy was coming down my street, it’s a load of bollocks, RIP to the fallen

Remember also the conflicts we fought in that the government now don't want to acknowledge. Northern Ireland for oh so many years, that has destroyed or impacted on so many lives.

Terrible, patronising, distasteful. Stupid music All just to earn a few bob . Have you heard about the new Medal For fighting the cold war in BAOR? It's the GSM & Bar Stands for= The German Sausage Medal. Criteria= To be able to eat 5 Currywurst without getting the shits. To be able to eat chips with mayonnaise. To be able to master the art of eating a half chicken without wiping your hands on your jeans. To go sixty days without getting the clapp The bar is awarded to all those who could drink 10 pils beers without passing out. And a special award an extra bar for the ugly ones who could never pull. Awarded to they who made 10 visits to the local puff . The air force get this automatically as we believe them Oh it was so hard over there. Free cigarettes Free petrol tax free cars tax free Alcohol, travel expenses ( mostly fiddled ) And almost double wages, because we were so far away from home. NATO exercises so hard. Find a wood to hide in if possible next to a farm Because of the unlimited amount of chicken eggs you can pilfere . Then lay around waiting for something to happen that never did.

My uncle was in the British Parachute Regiment, and almost got into the SAS , but his team was bad(that's how it is in the SAS, a team effort, ) now he works for a small security task force unit, I am his nephew and will never be able to express my gratitude enough, he tought me so manny life skills. Just a few were major first aid skills (how to use a tornacat, blood flow , catastrophic bleeding and emergency contacts) , swift stated rescue and how to tie knots are only a few major life skills he tought me! I am now a scout in the 5th Marchwood Cub Scouts, UK. And my big sister (14) is in the British army Cadets, 4th Hythe detachment , Cambri Company. R.I.P to all those who never came back from war, and I wish the best of luck for their familly.🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
