Хор співає гарно, але дуже академічно як наче класику, ми так в Америці не виконуємо цей твір. Це афро-американська музика все ж таки, треба було попрацювати над правильною вимовою слів перш за все, це не типічна англійська мова, і темп в 1,5 разів швидше повинен бути, там же написано 92-96 metronome marking… Піаніст дуже слабий, взагалі не тягне партію, там вона не така вже й проста, але треба розуміти хоча б стиль… В цілому ok але не так як повинно звучати по справжньому

Very beautiful. "Adagio non tanto" would suggest a quicker tempo but it is good.

As Diane and the late founder Roger McMurrin’s current neighbor, this performance brings tears to my eyes as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Thank you for carrying on Roger and Diane’s legacy with the extraordinary orchestra and chorale he founded many years ago. I sure do miss Roger as I’m sure many of in Ukraine do as well! God bless and keep you and God bless Ukraine and the Ukraine people!

Beautifully sung, no surprise. But surprising not to hear it in German on English. But if it is translated into English, why not other languages? The different vocal sections have wonderful tone!! Sopranos are especially nice on the high notes, not shrill at all. Unusual (for me) to hear the altos so clearly, and what a great sound. Tenors and basses, of course. Chorus IV is faster than I've heard elsewhere, and the up tempo gives a nice feeling.

What a magnificent performance!!! Orchestra and chorus were nothing short of phenomenal!!! For the ensemble to make music like demonstrated here in time of war Is just amazing! Beautiful rendition!! This choir and the directors are so talented. To practice these Negro spirituals in a language not your own had to be hard work. Their diligence paid off.
