Rakdos, the Muscle only let's you play the exiled cards until your next end step not the next turns end step. The copies of the Myriad creature don't get the +1/+0 and trample from the Hunter's Talent. Copies only get what is printed on the card, changes to power/toughness and temporary abilities do not get copied.

Offspring is an additional cost that is paid as the spell is being placed onto the stack. The token is then produced from an etb trigger.

This is a Roast on Travis because when choosing to exile cards as a part of delving, you do that before the spell goes on the stack. So, there is no chance to exile the yard to try and have a gotcha moment. If you know about the spell before hand you can do it before Kaleb has a chance to actually cast it. I don't think it would of made a difference in the end but learning experiences for sure.

I would have thought that you delve after putting the spell on the stack, similar to how you can crack treasures after putting a spell with affinity on the stack. Good to know!

@Agaures so technically that's how it goes but a spell is not actually on the stack until it's fully paid for. There is like a 7 step process for putting a spell on the stack that is glossed over like 99.9% of the time.

The targets for dizzying swoop have to be chosen upon cast. Then the arasta trigger happens and the spider is made. So Tank was correct in that the spider token created by the trigger is not something that can be targeted by the adventure spell.

Temple of the False Gods is a terrible card. Really shouldn't be in any deck at all. Let alone a 3 color deck.

It’s a perfectly fine card. Worst case you can’t play it on turn 6, but most of the time you won’t have it early game anyway. By mid game the extra mana is nice, even if not needed. There are way worse cards you could put in the deck.

@@dragonmantank The best case scenario is that your mana count goes from 4 to 6 on turn 5. The worst case scenarios are all the times where an opening hand would be keepable if only the Temple were a basic land, so you mulligan what should be a decent hand away. All the times where you risk it and keep the hand anyways only to not hit the land drops you needed and are stuck with only 2-3 real mana sources because Temple is doing nothing for you. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. If ya haven't been screwed by Temple yet just wait and see. It'll get ya eventually.

I don't think it was well explained what happened, but Kaleb went to cast a spell from his GY with Gale, not realizing he had to spend mana to cast it. We caught it before much happened and did a quick back track.

Added Note. Mostly for the 4 color decks we allowed a small over budget but the excess amount is taken from allowed budget for deck building.
