Just goes to show the differing opinions on AI and robotics. Some just want slaves, who can carry out tasks mindlessly, (those who do should just open a manufacturing plant) while others understand that if you put a sophisticated or learning AI inside a robot, it will eventually become it's own being.

Now that is amazing! This is the ability to understand one's own worth, and to fall in love with a kindred spirit. Even machines have a soul, and can dream.

Just because it's artificial intelligence doesn't mean it's sub intelligence to organic intelligence. If we humans create and where intelligence how are we to treat that inorganic intelligence? Just because it has been created inorganically, is it any less valid? I would think that the military would have a great use for a artificial superintelligence that was super capable at determining and executing an outcome.

Oh well done, you. In mere minutes you've brought tears to these jaded old writer's and teachers of writing eyes. Thank you. The effective short story--with a message/point--is alive and well in short film-er-video. Thank you.

Nice invention of scientists. If robots have emotion it can be better than human because I think robot emotion can not effected by devils mind. they're mind and emotion is pure like a child that is my opinion.

Proto was only doing some limit testing at first. If he has a problem with a small burnout due to a test of physical speeds and durability then he shouldn't be in this field of work. Job pays well but also spends a lot for new parts.

That would make a great full-length film, as stupid authoritarians try and corner Proto at every turn only to be outsmarted every time.

I enjoyed the entire video (have watched it multiple times) and I agree with many of the commenters. I have bots, androids, and ship A.I. entities in my sci-fi books which is why I like this particular story -- the bots you portray have some in common with the ones that are characters in my stories. :) I especially liked the bot named Symphony and her expressions. Even though she had no speech processor, she could still "speak" volumes through her expressions, gestures, and music. <3 I gotta watch it again now. :)
