The headstone at 1:26 shows a death date of Oct 10, 1989 at the bottom. Strange that this cemetery was abandoned since the early 1970's. Perhaps they only had the name engraved with the other family members because it is unlikely they would bury anyone in such a vandalized cemetery.

what's with this obsession of black and white photography? seriously, why are people obsessed with it? they even say it's better than color! i don't get it. i've always thought black and white a thing of the past.

Was this soundtrack not in the re-make of The Time Machine? When Guy Pearce awakens on the cliff side home of a young boy and his single Mother...very haunting but beautiful scene ..he goes ahead in time by error over 800,000 years.

continued to my first comment....5 years later it was then changed to Bachelder's Grove by postmaster Robert Patrick but the post office closed down just three years later. Officially, the settlement ceased to exist and was swallowed by the forest around it. Now it's known as Bachelor's Grove and the last descendent child of the Batchelder family will not go into his own family's cemetary after sundown.

just so you guys know you have to leave this place at sundown or the police will arrest you for trespassing because they do patrol it afterwards. also you need to know the last descendent child of the Batchelder family, who has owned this place since the 1820s, able to get in. it was orginially called the Batchelors Grove until 1850 when it was changed to Bremen.

Very nice slideshow. I especially like the musical accompaniment. What music is that?
