My little guy turned 3 in Aug and gosh we've been though it with the night wakings as well. Hes been waking up on and off the last 6 months. He is still in a crib which helps because he doesnt crawl out but he'll yell for us to come in (sometimes multiple times) and once in awhile doesnt want us to leave. The only advice I have is giving the hatch color-changing sound machine a try. He sleeps with the red light on and he cant get up or call out until the light turns green (which has always been 7am). Its worked very well, we just tell him every night before he goes to sleep that he cannot call out to us when its red. If he wakes when its red we tell him that he needs to give his stuffed animals a hug and then go back to sleep. Once its green I tell him he can yell as loud as he wants for us. Its been a game changer. It took some time for him to understand, and he still randomly calls out, but it went from him waking every night to only once a week now. Thinking of you, constant interrupted sleep is rough. Hang in there, she'll get it!

Your toddler question. Can you share when you have answers? Bc I have the SAME struggle. My toddler who is 3.5 was a great sleeper UNTIL we transitioned into the toddler bed. Ever since then he now wakes up middle of the night. 🥲 we sleep trained him so I don’t think that makes a difference lol

I also suffered a 4th degree tear during my home birth delivery and I don’t wish it on anyone! So sorry you experienced it. It took me quite a while to even just walk again, and comfort is still something I’m waiting on 5 weeks postpartum. It’s rough, and I 100% agree on having plenty of stool softener. Nobody ever told me that and I had to learn the hard way. It’s actually quite terrifying to visit the bathroom after a 4th degree tear.
