Hey, this is a separate plug-in. You can find it and install it in the Atlassian Marketplace. You can start a 30 days evaluation and after that it is free up to 10 users, if your Confluence instance has ore than 10 users the plug-in has a small cost depending on the number of seats,

In a project that I'm working in, I want to redirect the user to Azure for validating the user, for that how do I redirect him to Azure and generate SAML SSO authentication req? How do I generate this XML req in code, didn't find any resources regarding this Any help would be great. Thanks

You will need to first download the Microsoft Power Bi for Confluence app on the Atlassian Marketplace sso.works/1a892ok You can try it for free for 30 days and after that it is also free to use for up to 10 users.

This was really helpful. I think I know the answer but there is no way to sync users from Jira back to Azure AD groups is there. i.e. if someone gets added to a group in Jira can that new member be pushed to the Azure AD group?

Thanks for the great review! At the moment the app doesn't do bidirectional syncs as this would simply break the responsibility model and we can find some edge cases like when a user gets changed simultaneously from two or more instances. Please let us know if we can help you with anything.

I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. Let's separate two things. Authentication, this is the part where the SAML plugin just authenticates a User via the IDP and then log's in to the User Account that is present in Jira. Then Jira behaves exactly the same is if this user would have logged in manually. I.e. rights based on roles/group membership/dashboards etc. The second thing is provisioning - this is about how the User account is created in Jira. This Video was about manual provisioning; so that assumes you create the User accounts manually (or via some other method that is outside our App). Our plugin also supports synchronizing Users from AAD for example. In this case User accounts & Group memberships would be synchronized from AAD to Jira. But then you would better watch the Azure AD with Usersync Tutorial in our channel. If this doesn't answer your Question, please clarify it a bit more.

Just on second point i.e user and group provisioning from AAD- Lets say On AAD I have a group of admin and another group of normal user , then how the Jira Dashboard of both different user gets diffrentiated from each other as both type of users are SSO.

I already have an Enterprise Application used now for Crowd App. Can I reuse this Enterprise Application to configure the plugin or do I ABSOLUTELY need to use YOUR Enterprise App as shown in the video ? (reason is that I am not admin in our tenant and would need to ask our security/admin dept to create it, give a reason why, etc. So if it would be nice to be able to use what's already created) Thx

I do not see a hosting option for cloud. Does this product work with Atlassian Cloud (both for Jira and Confluence)?

Hi Joel, unfortunately, our Apps are only for Data-Center and Server. Atlassian has its own offering for Cloud, which is called Atlassian Access. But it's a lot more limited - so you'll have to check the Atlassian Documentation if suits your needs.
