So, if my boyfriend helps another girl who is struggling with walking, so he gives her a piggyback ride, it's okay, even though it's romanticized to be the beginning of physical contact. But also, not everyone's love language is physical touch, some may be acts of services. In most asian cultures, expressing love is difficult, which is why we peel fruit to show our love, an act of service. The fruit peeling is no differrent from the ketchup packet, the jar, and perilla leaf, and it does not matter if it's an Asian example or a western example. I think it isn't right to disregard someone's idea of a love act to being possessive or a sense of ownership. Some scenarios could be like that, but for someone who has a love language of acts of services, I think it's quite intimate.
