Yup that's the reason, this is still the best way to get truffle mushrooms. PA also added a new way to get them, now when you do any kind of Alchemy you have a very low chance of getting Unknown Seed, which is basically Truffle mushrooms. But it is not enough for your grind needs... but a nice addition at least!

u can get hypha by processing the unknown seed from rare drop alchemy and the truffle mushroom = hypha truffle mushroom

Yes this has been patched recently, you only get that seed from doing any kind of alchemy (very rare). The resulting hypha is unable to be bred, so it's only for a big chunk of truffle mushrooms.

For the fight vs Ascendra: You can use Float or Knockback abilities to force Ascendra to use her charging skill, which means you can easily knock her down. This worked 5/5 times, so I'm pretty confident it wasn't always only luck :)

thank you very much for the videos! If I could offer one thing of advice for future videos where you're constantly jumping between different points on the map: Add tiny transitions (i.e. fade out/back in) instead of the jump cuts. It was very disorienting to determine where you were on the map sometimes because of the jump cuts.

Yes, I was also confused the first time. You have to dig them all up AND also make sure that you seal every hole you dug up where there are no roots underneath. Only then you successfully complete the minigame. So in short, make sure to dig up only the spots that have roots below, don't dig up that do not have any roots, if you do, just close them again 👍

Above the Marie Cave, there is a rock with bunch of cotton (white flower i forget the name) , you can get 2. Usually i went to the upper side and then jump down to the cave where you went.

True those are really close. There are even some more on the way there but I didnt want to include them as the video is already pretty long. So I kept it to a minimum and only included the cave spots ;) Maybe I do a future update with all the spots in between as well :)

No unfortunately not, you can't get the hypha in the game. Otherwise everyone would just farm them, that would be way more convenient.

If you really can't use it yet to make a lot more during grinding, then I guess it would not be too bad. I would not recommend it, but I can see that for newer players it can be okay Silver.

When going to grab 2-15 I grabbed the chest on the right in the hut that you circled, was I not suppose to grab that? I finished the rest and my book chapter 2 didn't complete.

Absolutely no problem to grab any chest out of order, even when getting chests from different pages! I didn't interact with some chests just because I already had them, and the purpose for me to go there again was only for the guide ;)
