What I have been unsuccessful with is finding a video on what is the best way to collect the shrimp that were removed from the aquarium when removing shrimp to sell or when removing floating plants , servicing a filter and especially a large filter . Also I know that I can't see EVERYTHING but many videos never mention it , also pre filters can really be a problem with the baby shrimp if it's not the right PPI , more than a fee start to explore and have been trapped in the sponge . Hopefully you can make a 3rd video and I'll be watching 🩵💚💙

I Hope you Found this video useful and by all means add any other hints and tips for beginners below! 😁 Also Please Don’t Panic about the Frozen Fish (smelt) in the 30 Gallon Aquarium, I sometimes feed this as a few of the Plecos seem to enjoy it, anything uneaten goes into my Larger aquariums and the larger fish normally hoover up what is left 😀

Seeding both the soil substrate and the water column with leaves, twigs, and other detritus from a pond, lake, stream, or river will expand your biodiversity multiform as well as instantly cycle your tank.

I've been doing this for about 3 years, and i just got my first crayfish. Do you have any recommendations on fish and plants I can keep with him?
@AB-Aquariums19 күн бұрын
@@Unbanmejoe to be completely honest, I haven’t actually kept a Crayfish before, however I would say it may be a gamble keeping fish with it as it may go after them, however trying something quick that wouldn’t bother the crayfish and vice versa, maybe a group of danios might work, obviously and predatory fish that might go after the crayfish aren’t a good idea. I’d definitely recommend doing some further research online into Crayfish tank mates to see what might work, best of luck 👍

It's a great aquarium. Did you propagate Kenyan trees by cutting and gluing, or was this a natural process of theirs?
@AB-Aquariums23 күн бұрын
Pieces tend to break off and they will float around the tank till they find a spot to stick to, so a pretty natural process!

Love these fish ! I have 25 of them in my 8 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot 240 gallon. Some of mine are huge and my largest is 6 1/2 inches… I think even a 4 foot tank is really pushing it, but I hardly ever see them grow to more than 5 inches.
