In my experience, the more you have achieved (Academic qualifications, internships, published papers approved by "the panel", etc.) the better you can negotiate on your salary. Micro bio, gen tech/mol. Biology, bio med sci, biotech, med technologists etc, earn similar most of the times (if you are looking at only the degree course, in some cases ofc it can be different. But bioinformatics can get you better deals. Also it highly depends on your industry, pharma pays more for example. You can simply be a biologist and earn more at a pharma company then a biotech at another one. It depends less on the type of your degree, and more on other factors..... Biotech, biochem, microbio do have a better scope if thats what u want to know. Hope that helped

But if it helps here are some things that i know abt denmark. salary:livelihood of denmark is similar to germany that means, that you would not become rich or you wouldnt be amongst the best earners in the country but you would be able to live comfortably. Keep in mind that biotech salaries in denmark are similar to germany. You can watch the 2 videos about salaries on this channel, that will give u a pretty good idea. I know that you can go to med. Research/biomed sciences after your human med studies. About switching to biotech afters your human med, i havent done much research, and dont know anyone who did. I am not of big help here, sry..... Bit best of luck mate👍

These subjects would help you get your bachelors recognized, hence getting you into a masters programm in biotech. But nor every uni will approve of that. I suggest you apply to programs that are sort of continuation of these subjects. You can always ask the unis via email. Hope that helped

Opportunities for like getting a job? U can apply to various industries, and landing one should be possible, but rejections are to be expected. With regards to what type of industries, Pharma, food, chemical etc all offer some suitable job-positions in one department or another. I hope thats the answer you were looking for, i didnt really understand your question, like oppertunities for what exactly? General in the industry or exactly what position or something else

Yes you can in some cases. Research scientist is interesting, since you would be doing some new stuff, but could be stressful, since all the help that you could get is from your own findings, and sometimes you mught be under timepressure to complete a research etc. But i dont have any personal experience with any independent research.

Accomodation would have to be organized by yourself, since most companies dont offer any, you would need german proficiency for sure, but englisch proficiency i am not sure about.

I am not familiar with biotech in textile Industry, but i did once read about something about the use of modified bacteria in silk Manufacturing in Brazil. I cant remember much about it nor about the source, but there was something. Sry for not being helpful...

Biotech is nice, but Bioinformatics is booming as well. As far as i know, there are more people needed in Bioinfo then in biotech. In both of these fields you cant go wrong, but if i had to chose, dont know what i would do. So i would suggest that you go with the field that interests you more. Look at some job offers, and you will see which field is more in demand at the moment. Wish you the best of luck

Thats certainly not a bad plan. US is the best option, bachelors+masters or only masters, all very good and i would always suggest. But also sweden, denmark and germany maybe, if the situation gets better, right now i wouldnt suggest germany.

Yes there is. Alot in some cases..... Fluid dynamics, physical biochem/physical chem, have aspects of physics/thermodynamics principles, and eng principles in process technology wtc

@@BT.ed9 no it's ok im planning to retake bachelors. ik there's no other way. im willing to take the long and painful route. i really don't like the industry i was in. and it's ok if im the weirdo oldie by myself. i've seen similar stories of people becoming doctors at 38, entering med school at 29 etc some even at 50s. i just have to find a univ that will accept me, im working hard on my a levels right now 😃 we only have one life. i don't wanna be like "oh i should've just pursued that" and cry and mope all my life away. i have to make the change no matter how hard or even if people think its stupid or impossible (ps i am not that old). good luck to whatever you're pursuing too btw no matter how big or small!

Some people have different/ harder background stories then others, a good friend of mine studied chemistry, did and internship, and then started biotechnology. He was 27 at the time. Dont worry about it. Myself had to pause and work full time and a weekend job due to financial problems. Some people have it different in life. Wish you all the very best mate. @@_C.H.I.A I have no idea about arts. but u can try health/ health management sciences, sports sciences, nutrition sciences, health psychology, there is like health and social management (some general more theoretical, and abit easy ones) something with psychology, or more scientific work (more hands on/practicle work) like biochemistry, microbiology biotechnology.

From some unis they do, others offer it as a BSc. I suggest looking into the degree programs from universities that you are interested in. Hope it helped

Some universities offer pharmaceutical biotech, you can directly apply to those sorts of programs, but from pharma into general biotechnology is possible. You can look at the department page from the uni that you are interested in, and find out the requirements for the application. It is possible yes. I suggest applying for jobs directly. If you have some german proficiency the companies might give you a chance. But expect some rejections. I applied like 30 times to get like 3 call backs followed by an interview. Best of luch👍
