I watched your video and i can tell you it tears my heart out, we dont have a storm up here in Canada like you all but we got a storm of our own, Canada in particular where i live and New Brunswick have sent power trucks and all kinds of them to help restore some kind of normal to your people,The immigrant thing here is out of control all kinds of money spent we got taxpayers here supporting this country their whole lives now living in tends in -30 weather and yet no immigrants in them, this country is going to hell and quick, what marvels me is the 2 greatest countries in the world and both run by idiots, I hope Trump gets in and I wish we could be part of it, we need a massive cull here and by that i mean deportation and we need to worry about our own.May god be with you and all your friends far and wide of this devistation, and im quite sure the strength of your people will see this storm out, all the best to you my friend.Keep us in the loop on how your doing please, and I'm quite certain happiness is just around the corner.you and miss Betty stay safe.

I've been following this disaster and the series of weather disasters over the last ten years, and it does seem to be getting worse every year. My house insurance has doubled with less coverage as so many can't even buy insurance as more insurance companies go bankrupt or refuse to cover some by location. Scientists say we can expect more extreme devastating storms in the future. Hopefully not .

We The People have to make a change Calvin! My Brother and 90 year old Dad lost 6 houses from storm in southwest Florida from the storm surge. No FEMA around yet. I'm going down there this week to get my Dad and bring him here to stay with me. This administration has not acted at all fast enough and we have hurricane experience and should be ready for this. The Home Land Security Director should have been fired years ago and this is just another failure under his management. So many thousands of peoples life's have been affected. Actually considering your exact same setup for cooking burgers or steaks quickly in the backyard when I don't feel like firing up the kamado. Combining a banjo burner with a 20" cast iron skillet. Is temp control difficult with the burner on lower settings? How is the fuel consumption on that burner when cooking slowly like that?

@@CajunJosh not at all hard to set temperature. It’s really easy. I am humbled at your wanting to do this like me. I’m just an old hillbilly and love cooking outside. Fun to play. As far as fuel consumption. It’s very low.

@@CalvinsCorner72 I appreciate the info. Was considering getting a griddle but any of the reasonably priced ones aren't really build to last. Found a Bayou SBA6 stainless steel banjo burner similar to yours for $270 and then purchasing a 20" Carolina skillet. Figure I can use it just like a smaller griddle with the flexibility of the whole system being portable. Was just worried about it getting too hot on the lowest setting but that sure didn't seem to be the case with yours.
