The link you posted for the Apple CarPlay unit, how is that unit? Is it responsive and does with work good? Does it also keep all original bmw features? Is it laggy or delayed at all?

You definitely have a synchronizer issue with your transmission. My 6 speed tranny in both my F80 and F30 335 shift like butter. You can get a rebuilt one from bmw but they will need your core. These transmissions unfortunately are known to run into since issues and so I changed the one in my 335 since I had that same issue in 2nd gear. The rebuilt one from BMW seems to be much improved cost me about 3400.00 and it’s a 6:speed Xdrive transmission.

Coming out of the racing world, the first thing we would upgrade is our brakes. As a minimum, you need to upgrade your brake fluid to one with a high temperature rating like ATE Racing Blue. Consider upgraded brake pads, as well. It’s great to go fast, but it’s more important to be able to stop.

The yellow pops. Brake pads, Hawk 5.0 is a great hi performance pad, it will shave about shave about 8-10 feet off 60-0 braking. Akebono and ebc are trash. Ebc in particular will eat up your roots faster.
