سماع الأغاني والملاهي حرام في الإسلام، كما قال الله : وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ [لقمان:6] و(لهو الحديث) قال أكثر العلماء: إنه الغناء، ويضاف إليه أيضًا أصوات الملاهي كالطنبور والعود والكمان وشبه ذلك، فهي كلها تصد عن سبيل الله وتقسي القلوب وتمرضها. وأخبر الرب  أن ذلك من أسباب الضلال والإضلال من أسباب استكبار العبد عن سماع كتاب الله، والقلب إذا أمر بالأغاني وكثر سماعه لها فإنها تصده عن الحق وتسبب له أمراضًا خطيرة وتثاقل عن طاعة الله ورسوله وعن سماع القرآن والمواعظ حتى قال عبد الله بن مسعود : «إنه ينبت النفاق في القلب كما ينبت الماء الزرع». وقال النبي ﷺ: ليكونن من أمتي أقوام يستحلون الحر والحرير والخمر والمعازف أخبر أنه يكون في آخر الزمن قوم يستحلون المعازف وهي محرمة، والمعازف: الأغاني وآلات اللهو، والله المستعان

الأغاني محرمة، وقد نص أهل العلم على ذلك، وحكى بعض أهل العلم إجماع أهل العلم على ذلك، ومن أدلة ذلك قوله تعالى: وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ [لقمان:6]، قال أكثر علماء التفسير: إن المراد بذلك الأغاني، وهكذا أصوات الملاهي، وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام في الحديث الصحيح: ليكونن من أمتي أقوام يستحلون الحر والحرير والخمر والمعازف، والحر: هو الفرج الحرام يعني: الزنا، والحرير معروف محرم على الرجال، والخمر معروف محرم على الجميع وهو المسكر، والمعازف هي الأغاني وما يعزف به من آلات الملاهي. فالواجب على كل مؤمن ومؤمنة الحذر من ذلك، ولا يجوز استماع ذلك لا من إذاعة ولا من غيرها.

I live in Japan, and I was 13 years old when the broadcast of Detective Conan (Case Closed) began. It aired on Monday evenings at 7:30 PM. Those living in Western countries might be surprised to hear that if you know the first episode, you’d understand that a gruesome murder scene on a roller coaster at an amusement park was being shown on TV right around dinnertime. Nowadays, due to stricter regulations, such violent content can no longer be made for that time slot. (Even so, in Detective Conan, murders and dead bodies continue to appear routinely in front of the Junior Detective League.) But back in the mid-1980s, there was an anime called Patalliro! that aired on Monday nights at 7:30 PM, where scenes of a gay male agent belonging to the British intelligence agency MI6 and a former assassin who was a trans woman sharing a bed and kissing appeared repeatedly. Their relationship was portrayed positively. Despite this, understanding of LGBTQ issues in Japan has not yet deepened to the same level as in Western countries. In Japan, there seem to be many works like City Hunter, Fist of the North Star, Cat's Eye, and Gundam that are aimed at children but are enjoyable for adults as well.
