Yesterday this happened to us, Alexa music just stopped playing out of the blue while we where eating and my cousin got like nostalgic because it was her favorite song. Is pretty annoying when it happens without any apparent reason, if Amazon doesn’t fix this, I’ll sale all my Echos and buy the most premium one, the Echo Studio. It’s terrible to deal with this issue and no, it isn’t any Wifi issue. Amazon is getting like Sonos, glitchy speakers and no customer care agents, and yes, I’ve seen similar user reports with Google Home and HomePod speakers too, very disappointing

I have my own recording of this somewhere. I was there the day this happened sometime back in 1996 as I was living in Wichita at the time. What's sad is that this hotel had beautiful Art Deco motifs adorning the outside of it and tall cathedral windows on the top floor which was a ballroom. It was modeled after the Waldorf Astoria in NYC and had been visited by many celebrities of the time such as Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra. By the time this happened, it had been vacant for decades, and it is rumored that a prominent couple on the city council became wealthier selling off its chandeliers and stripping it of its wares. The homeless had started a fire in its lobby at some point. There was a faint campaign to restore the hotel and make it a tourist attraction, but palms were being greased. A new hotel was being built on the riverbanks and there was room for only one in Wichita, thus sealing the fate of the Allis Hotel.
