Cool to see the action behind the scenes - or under the rooftop as the case may be.

I can't help but notice you stopped before the cable touched the edge. So basically you can just get over edge before it starts rubbing and putting your life in danger? Stick to marketing what it actually does best, don't try to make it work for stuff just to sell it or you'll have a lawsuit on ur hands

We appreciate your comment and share your concern for worker safety. The Tech Tripod is specifically engineered for both conventional and over edge use, with all the proper ratings, as stated on the product manuals. Users should always reference manufacturer guidelines for use. The descent in this demonstration was stopped when the worker was able to safely stand at the bottom before the cable would come into contact with the edge. You bring up a great point about leading edge safety: any time a cable will come into contact with an edge, an edge protector should be placed where the cable may touch the edge unless a Class 2 rated device is in use.

Does it have all of the proper ratings and shit?

Yes! Thank you for asking. The Tech Tripod meets both OSHA and ANSI standards as stated on the product manual.

Think of your favorite personal SRL - now, think again. Most fall clearance. Lightest. 🤯

Not only are nuisance lockups, well, a nuisance - they can actually cause injury and create additional hazards such as a loss of balance or dropped object.

2h Falling hurts. Even with the proper equipment. OSHA mandates free falls less than 6’ - overhead connections reduce free fall distance, reducing impact on the body. Anchors Above!! 👊🏼
